Higher spec models add features such as a panoramic sunroof, Dipilot L2 driving assistance system, electric adjustable seat for the front passenger, dashcam, 18-inch wheels, 8 speaker sound system, and seat heating and ventilation.

Although the car uses the same platform as the Qin L it uses the design language of the BYD Ocean series and is visually based on the Seal which first debuted in 2022. As such the Seal 06 has a largely closed front with a low grille. The door handles are only semi-hidden. At the back there is a through taillight cluster on the trunk lid. The BYD logo on the rear apparently illuminates at night. Dimensions are 4830, 1875 and 1495 mm (l/w/h) and the wheelbase is 2790 mm. The Seal 06 has macpherson suspension at the front and new E-type four-link independent suspension at the rear.

Inside the car carries over the general Ocean series look with design elements such as the dashboard and doors. There is a rotating 15.6-inch central infotainment screen and an 8.8-inch LCD instrument screen. Cars come with 6 airbags, ETC, mobile phone NFC key, automatic air conditioning, one touch window control for the driver’s side window, tire pressure monitoring system and a minimum of six-speakers.

BYD Seal 06 DM-i 80KM continues BYD’s oceanic aesthetic design concept while subtly incorporating its own unique flavor, avoiding the similarity of the family design. The front part of the car is themed with “Harnessing the wind and cutting through the waves”, drawing on the whale tail element, the design is simple but vivid, and the active air intake grille design effectively reduces the wind resistance coefficient.

The Seal 06 is built on the same platform as the Qin L, and adopts the new design concept of BYD’s Ocean series. The front of the Seal 06 adopts a closed front face, with a horizontal large-mouth grille design, and LED light clusters with corners on both sides, which gives the overall appearance of dynamic styling.
